August 17, 2012

The Colgate Keeping Britain Smiling exhibition continues to engage families and school groups around the country.

Magna, housed in vast former steelworks at Templeborough, Rotherham, is host the Colgate supported Keeping Britain Smiling exhibition. It is the latest venue for the tour which began at London’s O2 Bubble and has already attracted tens of thousands of visitors.

In it’s opening two weeks, Keeping Britain Smiling has engaged over 8,000 visitors at Magna. Stuart Ballard, science centre director at Magna, said:  “This is a unique exhibition that has been designed to be a fun but educational insight what goes on inside our mouths, with the hope that children will learn what they can do to keep their teeth and gums healthy. We are really pleased to be able to offer families in our region the chance to see it as well as enjoy everything else that Magna has to offer.”

Keeping Britain Smiling runs from August 1st to September 2nd 2012 at Magna and entrance is free with general admission. The exhibition will then tour to Glasgow Science Centre.
