It's been a busy year for KCA London with the delivery of projects in the Middle East and Europe, as well as a host of learning experiences that continue to shape our expertise in enabling life enhancing experiences for audiences.
There are so many highlights of 2012, it is difficult to know where to start!
We have continued to unlock our expertise in supporting the operations and staff development through our continued support of Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy in Saudi Arabia, and the operation of four sites across the Olympic Park throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games, engaging over 150,000 visitors. We also managed the training of Facilitators at the Recycling Discovery Centre and the Keeping Britain Smiling travelling exhibition which engaged over 180,000 visitors in science centres and shopping malls across the UK. We have also been working with the Qatar Museum’s Authority to develop the concept and operational plans for an outreach program designed to unlock a passion for creativity, culture and life long learning.
On the content, exhibit development and design side, we delivered the Saudi 2050 exhibition, Mishkat’s first travelling exhibition. This premiered at the Saudi Aramco Cultural Festival, before travelling to the COP 18 UN Climate Change Conference in Doha. In the New Year, it will be installed at the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi. The Recycling Discovery Centre in London has opened to booked educational and community groups, and the Keeping Britain Smiling tour launched at the Golden Jubilee Festival in Hyde Park. We led the content delivery for a showcase experience at the Olympic Park, and for an exhibition celebrating Georgian culture and spirit of reform in Tbilisi.
And we have met and worked with so many interesting people! We presented at the ECSITE conference in Toulouse, and attended the NAMES conference in Tunis supporting the delivery of brilliant presentations from the Mishkat team. Our network of expert consultants and organisations continues to grow and be refreshed, meaning we continue to offer fresh perspectives to our clients. 2013 will hold many exciting opportunities and challenges, and we look forward to supporting the delivery of experiences that enables learning, inspiration and innovation.
We wish all of our clients, colleagues, and friends a wonderful start to 2013.
