Mishkat's first travelling exhibition is presented as a King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy educational initiative to a global delegation.
This November, Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy invited visitors to interact with their possible energy futures at the Doha Climate Change Conference, COP18.
The interactive exhibition Saudi 2050 introduces a world of future possibilities enabled by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s realization of a sustainable energy mix. From programming a robot to designing a vehicle of the future, visitors discover how their everyday lives may be transformed, and be inspired to create their own ingenious energy innovations.
On Monday 19th November, UNFCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres visited Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a special tour of this interactive science center. Following her tour, Christiana Figueres tweeted to over 10,000 followers ‘Impressed by @mishkat_energy vision of Saudi Arabia future energy mix’.
The exhibition Saudi 2050 forms part of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) outreach program for inspiring young people to be tomorrow’s energy innovators.
