Ashleigh King joined the cultural sector fifteen years ago following a spell in fashion buying for the House of Fraser group and hasn't looked back. Having lead the retail strategy for NMSI (National Museums of Science and Industry), Ashleigh now offers clients expertise in a range of retail support functions including buying and merchandising, store operations and environment, licensing and e-commerce.
With a passion for product, Ashleigh has worked with the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Disney, Aardman, Twinings and Royal Mail to produce signature and licensed collections and is currently developing a licensing programme and delivering a new store for a science centre in Riyadh, KSA.
Ashleigh has expanded her skillset into the visitor services sector. She is the acting visitor services manager for Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy, and will be a site manager for a tier one sponsor visitor experience in the Olympic Park for the 2012 London Games.
