Cat Beckett

Interpretation

Cat is an experienced content developer who specialises in making content culturally relevant.

Cat joined the KCA team after working as the National Army Museum’s Early Years’ gallery content lead during their major Heritage Lottery funded redevelopment project. Prior to this position she undertook a Cultural Co- operation sponsored traineeship and earned a QCF diploma in Culture and Heritage. Cat holds an MA in European Culture and Thought from University College London and has international teaching experience from her time on the Japan Exchange and Teaching programme.

Recently, Cat has been co-developing activities for the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and developing content for the Saudi Arabian Pavilion at Expo 2017 in Astana. Cat has been project managing communications for the Pavilion during the three month long event, this has included the creation and curation of a dual language website and daily social media content.

Cat is a History of Art and Literature graduate and has completed the PRINCE2® Project Management Foundation course. She also speaks fluent French and conversational Japanese.
