A graduate in Interactive Art with an MA in Public Art and Design from Chelsea School of Art, Dan has led the design development of a range of projects for museums, Science Centres, local government and international agencies.
Before joining KCA London, Dan was the Technical Design Manager at the Science Museum, London. Leading a team of exhibit designers and fabrication managers, Dan’s project portfolio includes the I-recycle Centre, Islington; ‘Sparking Reaction’ for British Nuclear Fuels and ‘Chelsea World of Sport’ for Chelsea Football Club.
At KCA London, Dan leads the design team to produce engaging, robust and accessible visitor experiences. Achievements include: managing the design of The Green Living Centre, an adult orientated sustainability engagement centre on one of London’s busiest high streets, leading the technical design of the ASPIRE Spirit of Sport experience, Doha, Qatar; directing the design for the highly popular Royal Beasts exhibition at the Tower of London; leading the technical design development of 3 major galleries for the Massar Discovery Centre in Damascus, Syria; and co-ordinating the design of Mishkat, Riyadh.
More recently, Dan led on the design and exhibits for Saudi 2050, a touring exhibition that has toured in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Abu Dhabi. He also led on the conceptual space planning for a visitor center to be located in Masdar City, UAE, and an outreach vehicle for the Qatar Museums Authority.
A requested international speaker on sustainable design, Dan champions the employment of environmental best practice through every stage of the design process.
