KCA are the lead designers, content developers and tour operators for Colgate’s Keeping Britain Smiling exhibition.
With the current rise of tooth decay amongst children in the UK, Colgate commissioned the exhibition to inspire young people to start taking better care of their teeth, developing habits that they will take with them and maintain throughout adult life.
The Keeping Britain Smiling exhibition invites audiences to step into the unique world of their mouths and learn first-hand what it takes to maintain a healthy smile. Content includes the anatomy of the mouth and how it works, the surprising history of dental hygiene and dentistry and practical advice on everyday oral hygiene.
Exhibit highlights include:
- Wear A Smile, a digital installation where visitor can swap their smiles and share the results with their friends and family via email;
- Plaque Attack, a fast-paced, physical race to brush away the plaque from a giant set of teeth using a human sized toothbrush.
Launched at London’s O2 in May 2012, the exhibition has toured science centres, museums and leisure destinations throughout the United Kingdom. To date, Keeping Britain Smiling has reached 180,000 visitors.
